The Peace Sign......Second Hand Word Bank from Linda Jo
The peace sign is a symbol,
a pioneer of its time,
it was developed to put an end
to the nations dramatic crime.
The peave sign is no imitation,
it is chastened by war and hate,
if you listen to its message,
sensitivity it will demonstrate.
The symbol will take the stage,
spreading clarity,
radiating its peaceful temperment,
for all the world to see.
The peace sign stands  for splendor,
with its witty logic you will learn to believe,
that if we want to,
with peace we can relieve.

It's a beautiful dream, but I've never known it to happen in my lifetime ... yet..      (Much better comment than you'd have gotten from me 35 years ago.  I've changed but still have a difficult time accepting the peace sign.  At that time I was a hard core redneck)
