Romantic Cleansing

Within my mortal heart a romantic song melody
that hums so sweet and low with cleansing

I read the new creation of loves emotions rise
which now makes my heart become joyous

The tear stain garments of my heartaches life
after so many unhappy years of lies

Should I rush into his comforting loving arms
and we both walk in heavens dawning light

His loving voice subdued me with his passion
will he always forever be there every night

India, I call it brainstorming...go out and live a day in the sun, or in the rain, or under the full and experience your emotions... even it is only people watching... we learn a lot from a mother with her baby or young child...young couples in love,  elderly ones who still have tender moments that they share hand in hand...your muse might be pulling you in a different direction with your poetry.  teaching you to explore new ways of expressing your vivid heart...listen...look for new horizons.  Try listening to music that is not particularly "your style"...then write what you feel.    a time for everything...a time to cleanse...a time to purify!

""My muse is dead it seems???"    Nope.  Don't you believe it.  Sometimes we need to step back and recover before we can move on.  Usually, I sit back and just read for a while.  Not very long and something will click in me and away I go writing again.  Styles will change.  Subjects will change,  Life will change.  Pick one and write yourself dry on it.  Then move to another and do the same.  You'll find your way back.  Sometimes you just need to get the junk out before you can see the real poetry in you.  Quit worrying about it and simply write your heart.
