Don't Follow Me Home
I've seen that look before,
the shortness in your breath.
The quiver in your voice
when you feel there's no hope left.
I've been too keen to painful things
and I've seen good women cry.
And goddess, I've tried to back away,
but the demons won't let me die.

Please love, don't follow me home.
You're way too good, so just let it alone.
You're too beautiful for my hands of stone.
You're too vulnerable to save my soul.
You'll make me smile,
I'll make you cry.
You'll strum my heartstrings,
and I'll rip yours in twine.
While you have the chance, please, just go.
I love you too much for you to follow me home.

I've got a story or two to tell.
The kinds you don't want to hear.
The beast behind the sapphire eyes
is just too much to bear.
I'll make you bleed until you scream
and send you to the door.
I'll make you cry for mercy
and make you beg for more.

So Please love, don't follow me home.

The girls before were jade and cheap.
That's why they're gone; they meant nothing to me.
But you; you still just follow me
and I want to take you home...

But Please love, don't follow me home.
You're way too good, so just let it alone.
You're too beautiful for my hands of stone.
You're too vulnerable to save my soul.
You make me smile,
I want to dry your tears
You'll strum my heartstrings,
I'll sooth your fears..
I'm to selfish now. I don't want you to go.
But I love you too much for you to follow me home.

Kira,

  "Hands of stone"

biblically will crush

false intentions & beliefs.

Although your welcome is true

to whoever this dream person is,

his false intentions & beliefs

 cause you to assert

 the biblical adage of

 "hands of stone".

Note

I'm sure you're a christian.

A christian whose faith remained true.

You've done very well.

So let me

wish you the peace

 that comes with

humility & success.

Merry Christmas &

a Happy new year,

Jamieson & family
