Within Me
You are to me as sunshine
As is winter unto cold
As different as the colour
Of say Silver is to Gold
But both are just as precious
As they span the breadth of time
Just as you were when beside me
And I new that you were mine
There was no space before us
No time for going back
Our love entwined as love is blind
As white is that to black
Your breath lives on within me
As common as the breeze
And theres nothing I can say or do
Will give my heart reprieve.

Amazing poem. Sofly spoken but a loud whispter to my ears.

Well said.

This is absolutely a wonderful piece, it takes my breath away. To have a love so pure, true and deep is a real blessing.

Lovely, Graham..To me, this  is a story of lost love, or did I miss something?  And I KNEW that you were mine?...len

Graham......Whew......How this reaches out as clear as white is to black....

Your muse is shinning like silver and gold.......Who ever inspired you I hope she always will...

Our  love entwined  as breathless the passion on the parchment of a poet..... I love this so much...Great to have you back....
