Unnatural Pain
Your poetic quest ......
My birth of endless unatural pain .....

The spector of loves death does not concern
me any longer
because you see
I am already feelings dead
depression reins

My soul companion has become unbearable
invested by this emotional revenge curse
always in its wounded flight

Now hidden things are so very clear
how it tests my foolish mortal heart
every single day and night
~**~

Let me go so my clawing pain
 does not continue any longer

Yet I know my dorment lifeless smile
will always wonder and wonder

Am I so blind or lost in my own torment that I did not see this! I know that nothing I say or can do will ease your pain but I know you have an inner strength that many others do not possess because I have seen it, if not for your encouragement when I needed it most I may not have been here to read this today, remember you are the innocent in this, stay strong stand firm and your world will once again become your rock, My prayers and thoughts are with you, your friend as always~Graham.

"Yet I know my dorment lifeless smile will always wonder and wonder" Wonder what?  Are you actually thinking of taking him back?  Are you nuts?  My sister-in-law kept her eyes shut and kept taking her cheating, thieving husband back time and time again thinking he had finally changed.  This went on for 28 years.  Last time he left her knowing she was trying to end her life.  Yet, he still left.  She finally smartened up and divorced him.  She is now happier than I have ever seen her.  She still loves him but knows he will never change and that he is poison to her.

"depression reins"... then change the spelling to rains and go for a walk in it.  Walking in the rain usually clears and cleans my mind.  Try it.  You might like it..

You've come too far to go back.

Gene

I too wonder my friend sometimes love makes us do stupid things (nice to have a scapegoat isn't it?) For the mood I am in at this time this is the perfect poem you have once again struck a chord.
