Cobwebs

Cobwebs blow from between my ears
and my mind begins to think.
Flowing words from expanding cells
soon will be written in ink.

Where were my thoughts I never shared?
They were there, why never spoken?
Thoughts make a difference even when unique.
They’re not just a verbal token.

Just because the pictures I see
are different from what is expected,
they’re not always improper, with twisted meaning.
They’re thoughts of my opinion reflected.

So clean the cotton webs from within my mind.
Blow till the path is clear.
Explain to others the attractions you’ve seen.
Share the insights you fear.

Author's Notes:

Poets share their inner most emotions with their readers.
Sometimes what we have to say our readers agree with, sometimes they do not.
Either way, the thoughts are still our own.

Something should definately be done about those nasty little cob, spinning their disgusting little webs between our ears. I've never actually seen one of those irritating cobs, but if I ever do, boy, will I give that little creature what-for....len

So true and thank goodness it is so. Imagine how boring the world would be if we all thought and felt exactly the same about everything. Enjoyed!
