A Frame of Sand

When God made you He said "That’s enough work for today.”
With a smile on His face He made you special in His own way.
The angels said "Lord this is not just another handmade mold.”
God replied without hesitation: "That’s another precious soul.”

Then your feet were planted upon God’s fertile earth.
A treasured child sent from above to embrace its dirt.
Guardian angels and family also welcome your birth.
We survive everyday in this world by loving God first.

So when you find a speck of sand in your shoe from this earth.
Thank God who breathe life into dust to give you and me birth.
For God always gives to everyone born the freedom to decide.
To accept His love from heaven and to live forever by His side.

I'm not into the typical, Christian god stuff, but your poem is lovely in it's testament of your faith. Well done.

blessings,

jolen

'A Frame of Sand' is an real inspirational poem; I can easily tell that it comes from your heart.  If only everybody would believe as you do...  but...  Anyhow thanks for giving us a real good poem to read.  God bless you and yours.  --David

Indeed...we have been so blessed to have such a wonderful maker, who loves us so...who cares for us so...who considers us so...WHO IS MAN THAT YOU TAKE NOTE OF HIM...Yet, he does...so generously and gently, so tenderly and beautifully...Im sure that he is touched that you have taken note of this and that you acknowledge him for these, dan.

This poem shows your love for god as well as your love for neighbors...

keep on shining that light of love my friend! :o)

Thanks for sharing. :o)
