The Little Girl
She couldn't see it
Just feel it
A pair of eyes
Grabbing her attention
She moves slowly
Like a moth to a flame
The room like a playground
Her anticipation
Reaching the point of no return

A little girl
In the corner
Laughs at her
Mommy , Mommy
Come to me
Her eyes friendly
Teary, sad
At the same time

Her skin goes cold
A slight wind
Rattles through the room
She stops
Her heart pounding
The little girl crawls
On the ground

Mommy, Mommy

come to me

Holding out her hand
The little girl disappears

The door behind her close
The voice of a
Grown woman
Cries out in pain

Mommy , Mommy
Come to me

Then an eerie silence , nothing
The sun rise
And she stares
At an empty room
Author's Notes:
this poem needs a bit of background - Imagine your car breaks down in the bad part of town, and you have to walk past with a history. But as you go past it you feel something draws you nearer and nearer and nearer to the house....UNTIL you open the door and everything is pitch black.WHAT DO YOU SEE .hmmmmm
