His Own Monastery
A great change swept over me and I heard a voice
trying to whisper within my mortal being
in the stillness of the night

Whispering ......urgently
 " Don't Go "
" Please don't vanish "

I felt signs of uttered sorrow
The wind came unto me in all directions

The full moon was in a tattered remnant veil
silence swathed like demolished phantoms
trampling the tranquil peacefulnesss

~**~

He had secluded his loving affections
  and had buried sacred desires
in his own monastery
Author's Notes:
Dreams I had last night...Damn that red wine??

Perhaps the ghost of a love long past, manifested in a dream sequence.
