You who gave life to all
and sang through the ages
The seed of life nurtured
and brought to life
from your abundant waters
I willl remember you
when the tempests blow
and we cower beneath the deluge
spilled on our raised eyes
from obsidian skies

Will you call down a retribution
bleeding fires upon the wind
and in a sky of blinding light
will you deal a final warning
to the faithless ones
I will remember you
Even as the gloom recedes
on this dark bleak morning
I see wild wings beating
in a cold cold Sun

Will you spread out your protection
to those who saw the truth
Lit by the lurid gravid glows
from a tainted rising dawn
on a hard hard land
I will remember you
in all your unbound glory
Hear my confession
As I stand with head bowed
to face your final judgement

Oh Mother......
will you hold out warm embraces
to those who showed you love
Oh Mother......
how I have tried

Mother Earth moans out every day..

Her own grandchildren children through all the endless years are killing her slowly ...

She will rebel when she has had enough..... and man kind as we know it will vanish...

 Another brilliant poem....Thomas....
