Salvation is a promise,
A contract signed in blood.
And every soul that seeks it
Is lifted from the flood.

But few will know the measure
Of what was sacrificed.
In finding our redemption,
We've spilled the blood of Christ.

A wonderful poem about the sacrifice and love Jesus has given us.

Good poem. Nicely constructed. I always wondered about the mechanics of killing Christ to make redemption possible. len
