I Want A Place

I   want   a   place

I want a place, with a decent liveable space

Which opens to a field, with kind smiling face

Where birds and butterflies frolic, pursue and chase

And flowers compete with stunners, with unparalleled grace

I want a place, simple, not resembling an endless maze

Which opens to a warm placid lake, gentle to bathe

Where the mountains in horizon, not dressed in haze

And all the hurts and yearnings, disperse in phase

I want a place with a respectable liveable space

Which opens to a room with inviting and receiving face

Where both you and I, can enter with a respecting pace

And all the doors and walls withstand an enduring chase

I want a place, simple, yet has a lineament all its own

Which remains warm and tranquil, from twilight till dawn

Where the nocturnal flowers bloom, alluring smiles of their own

And so my friend, you’re invited, it belongs to you, feel at home

Well dean there is such a place

away from this old rat race.

An amazing grace.

I am never disapointed when reading your poetry in this place.

Thank you for the invitation, it sounds such a spiritual kind of place to relax, to feel at ease and let all the hurt and sadness disperse....

Beautiful, Dean.

Seems to me, sir, that C-P might have something -- if a little -- in common with the place you want...  Certainly there are nocturnal flowers here...  Certainly -- at least some of it -- remains warm and tranquil...  and certainly we're invited... and we feel at home here...

Warm thoughts.  Kind words.  Fine poet.

Dean, Everyone deserves such a place to share and I know you'll be were you want to be patience is all you need.  I believe I just said this but when you least expect it you'll find your standing right where you want to be.  A beautiful poem.  Tina
