Stale Night Lungs
This tranquillity world scented fragrance
with the peacefulness reflected stillness

My morning breathless vastness view
the sunlight halo silence rising
the wild perfume scent of the
desert willow blooms

Dawning spreading its pastel silken
nature colors like a straw mat
across the desert mist floor

The stricking sun plays hide and seek
with the low drifting fog in the
desert boulders and rocks

Billowing playful clouds crowding
sun torches as the cool breeze
flutters all around me as
I smiled to myself

I feel so at peace with myself
as coolness of the breeze
breaths in fresh air into
my stale night lungs

Oh, I long when you write of the dessert, for I have only seen one in my life.  I imagine through your words how so beautiful it can be and how amazing the sunrise is breathtakingly beautiful all seen through your eyes.  I also love that it is hopeful of the possibilities a new day a new day can bring.  Tina
