Our Journey
We transcended into a moment where words couldn’t carry the feeling

Her emotions took the form of a butterfly softly landing on me

So slight in appearance so powerful in substance I was overwhelmed

A gentle breeze chased the soft moonlight and our shadows came alive

This brought us to a familiarity we innately desire and take comfort in

As we held each other our journey moved us toward the edge of eternity

ahhhh the edge of eternity.  How far must we go to stand on its edge?  Bet it would take us a while to get there.    " A gentle breeze chased the soft moonlight  "  love that phrase.  Only I like walking in  hurricane winds.
Nice       Gene

Steve, a lovely journey to the edge of eternity.  BTW I liked both titles, I read it late one night and I could of sworn the title was different.  Why no comment?  A beautiful poem.  Tina
