4 Sisters
They walked lazily
The 4 sisters
As we followed them
Slowly…in our jeep

I wondered
Does the sand road
Not hurt their feet

Then…one by one
They fall over
Off to sleep
It's ten past five
The sun starts to set
In this magnificent African land

Ten minutes later they wake up
Like only big cats can
Roll on their backs
Licking their feet
Those big yellow eyes
Penetrating my mind
I so desperately
Want them to speak

One sister turn around
Goodbye my friend
Her eyes waved me a kiss
I'm sure you will never do me harm

In my mind
My soul touches
Her soft skin
You know me better than that
As I wave her a kiss back

4 big tails
…..It's late
Time to hunt
As we turn around
To go home
Sadness grips my heart

4 sisters
4 pictures
Will remain
In my mind
Every time i see
The glorius African sky

oooh, one of your best!   you've nailed a very intriging...and intimate moment with the four sisters.   over-whelming!

It is amazing to me, that such dangerous cats can have such beauty in the mind of their prey.  I can't imagine living in an area where such creatures freely walk the outskirts of my home town.  But I, like you, love them.  they truly are beautiful.  But also like you, I would never try to pet one.  Could cost a person their arm at the very least.

This is great Dirk. Talking of the big cats, aren't they some magnificent creatures!

Dirk, This I really enjoyed and will go as a fav.  Don't be so sure that you won't become the next meal.  Very sensual, is that being crazy.  Sensuality with an animal.  Not is a bad way.  I better be quiet before I get in trouble.  Tina
