We'll All Go Down Together
We knew, long before we knew
It wasn't a walk in the park
No matter what stories you may hear
It's never for the greater good
For God and country?
So what's it all for, what does it mean
Foreign lands, foreign sands
Changes in lattitude, changes in attitude
Yeah, we were there for you
To set you free, to be your voice
Vox Populi, vox Dei
Truth, justice and the American wa
Justicia omnibus....Justice for all
We slay the dragon, the blood is on us
But who really knows?
Ask the ghosts of all the "acceptable losses"
Can you say....justified?
But those, who were true believers
Who saw it, but never saw it coming
To make it all look good
To live and die, for the doctrine of credibility
To be the few, the proud
Never to stand down, never to give in
To fight to the last drop of....your blood
Have we truly earned our place in the sun?
Have we squared ourselves with God?!
And will the end truly justify the means
Brother to the end
Will we all go down together?

A great read Len.

War, the ugliest fight of the nature, between the wisest of creatures, or are we?!

Len, This is incredible.  The journey of brothers into battle and beyond.  I loved every line.  Then men and woman her serve our country deserve honor and respect for their sacrifices, which never can truly be measured.  Tina
