Deep, Deep, Deep

Deep,  Deep,  Deep

I wanna watch you, while youíre asleep
Sit beside your bed, and think deep
Will not wake you up, thatís a promise
I wanna feel you, deep, deep, deep

I wanna watch you while youíre asleep
Lean on your bed, and become your dream
Will not bother you, thatís a promise
I wanna touch you, deep, deep, deep

I wanna watch you, while youíre asleep
Hold your hands, and touch your sheet
Will not drop them, thatís a promise
I wanna keep you, deep, deep, deep

I wanna watch you, while youíre asleep
Touch your hair, and I might weep
No more tears, thatís a promise
I wanna hold you, deep, deep, deep

I wanna watch you, while youíre asleep
Until youíre awake, I may have a peek!
Will not leave, thatís a promise
I wanna learn you, deep, deep, deep

Now that youíre awake,

I wanna watch you, tossing and turning
Open your arms, I am burning
Will be gentle, thatís a promise
I wanna love you, deep, deep, deep

And now that you have me in your arms,

I wanna make it, worthwhile
No need to go, down the aisle
Will love you forever, thatís a promise
I wanna kiss you, deep, deep, deep

And now that I have kissed you,

You can kiss me back, if you want
Hold each other, as weíre one
Wonít let you go, thatís a promise
We wanna fly high, deep, deep, deep

In the sky

Author's Notes:

Some times, some poems can be manipulated by changing some of the wordings to their lower alternatives reducing the poetic values, and I am aware of that in this occasion. Since we are on CP, with some great poets and deep thinkers, I would like to raise the spirit and keep it high.

Dean, Is there any other way to love besides deeply?  A lovely moving poem.  Tina

Very 'touching' poem -- I'm glad she awakened and wasn't scared out of her mind thinking some intruder was intruding:  Sweet verses.  Soft.  Warm.  DEEP.    --David
