DEDICATED TO OUR DEAR TINA!
--------------------------------------------------

Dedicated to our dear Tina whose words (and birds) are the inspiration for this poem!  Thank you, Tina!

 O RED-BIRD, GREEN-BIRD, YELLOW, BLUE —

"O red-bird, green-bird, yellow, blue —
What word have I to say to you?”

"O foolish one! on earth you be —
What possibly you say to me?”

"O white bird, black-bird, purple, gray —
What thing so cruel is that to say!”

"Full bound to earth, O flat-foot be!
While fly the sky I — e’er be free!”

"O Wondrous wing’d one — know thou such —
And yet, O sailor — Not so much!”

"Ha ha!” says I, "you human lump!
As I do fly — can you but jump!”

"Aye, aye, my friend — so fair, so light —
Would still see not my finer flight...

"For Mind have I — tho’ small thing seem —
While Thine the sky — be Mine the dream!”

David, I smiled and then I cried, you have been such a great support and inspiration for me.  The voice of clarity and reason.  I am so humbled and honored that I could inspire you to write a beautiful poem.  As of yet, I haven't found a poem of yours I didn't love.  I love your with all my heart.  This will be a blessed year for us all, I'm sure.
Then to read the most flattering comments, wow, more tears, my heart truly aches, I think, I'm not sure.  My chest feels full of love for you all, sometimes I don't see what's right in front of my eyes.  I love everyone put often it's hard to feel love from others.  It's no fault of yours, it's my feeling of unworthiness.  But right now at this moment, I feel loved.  What an incredible gift you have given me.  More priceless than anything one could buy on this earth.

Love Always to my Dear Dear Friends.

Talking bird within a dream?  Neat idea.  Yup to the lady.  I've been inspired by her many times, but never in a dream.  I like the interaction between the characters, each watching the others values and commenting on them.
Neat poem

Nice tribute to our dear friend, Fireman, well said, well written. She's a warm, gentle soul, of whom I'm very glad to know.
