Sat Thinking

     Sat Thinking

      Sat -- thinking
about a place near it --
which I was once -- far
and away -- now it seems.

     Sat -- thinking
of a place far far distant --
which I longed for -- once
     dear -- it seemed then.

     Sat -- thinking
how did I occupy -- the
places I was once -- part
     of the everything?

and I am sat thinking -- of
a road to peace , prosperity -- for
all ; and not only -- few
     having all ?!

Author's Notes:

A reflection on the current hardship, almost for everybody  and how it all began…

Our founding fathers did allot of thinking for us.

Now i wonder who in government can we trust.

So i like you too take an inward view

It seems to be always left up to you.

nice and reflective

of your life

An especial quiet moment of thinking -- silent and questioning -- and lost.  A soundless soliloquy that -- even in its sadness -- comforts... [maybe the repetition on the great first line does that?] -- A hardness strangely tender: a paradox.  Great writing, Dean.  Cosmic.  --David
