Live For Today

Live For Today

It was to be thought at one time shallow

To think of the day and not plan ahead.

But care not if this thinking be narrow

I choose to live each second now instead.

I have seen too many people taken away

Who chose tomorrow not live for today.

Care not what people think or maybe say

Enjoy God's gift of life in every way.

Good advice, Al.  Strong poem.  Sometimes it's hard to drag oneself out of the past -- or the future -- yes -- to live Now is really the only way to live.  (Now teach me how.)  --David
