Rain is for Hiding Tears
Drenched from head to toe.
As the rivers run thru the soul.
Living with words is a heavy load!

When the sky no longer falls.
And the levees' have no place.
 Memories existence has been erased!

When there are no tears left to cry.
The poet's wail returns all to the sky.
What fills our hearts is wanting outside.
We're married to words conceived inside!

Clouds rise with yesterday's dreams.
The earth is an island for our streams.
Let's replenish the earth by returning every one.
I repented for wanting to stay in our star lit home!

The earth spins along with its magnetic poles.
To transport poets ready to place their scrolls.
One day eternity will be forever by your side.
To be rewarded with you for dressing the sky.

The earth spins with two magnetic souls.
Waiting to transport tomorrow's scrolls.

We look up to heaven and say it's already filled,
to the brim with poets like us.

So on this earth let's continue to build and frame,
the sky with words for a truss.

The earth spins with its magnetic poles.
Already in transport are two writing souls.
Author's Notes:
I always wonder why we gather up the broken pieces
 in our lives.
A dedication to poets with their scrolls.
Hint: Placement of the word souls.

The day a pen leaves a writer's hand is the day they have took their last breath!

A Psalm if I've ever read one, filled with palatable emotion. Fantastic Dan!

I will greatly miss your fine and well-told words -- if out dear C-P is forced to shut down.  At least I have gotten to know some of your poems.  I think you're wonderful.  --David
