To Love

To Love

To love embrace the moment and live

Think not it as something capricious;

It explodes and laughter it does give

It raises the spirit high so delicious

It clouds the memory of past loves

Which came and went and failed to thrive;

Now you act and love like turtle doves

Which coo their love glad to be alive;

Cast out the memory of loss pain

Bring in the light into the darkness;

Do not upon your present love stain

With histories of your past bleakness;

Enjoy the now and embrace your life

With she your soul-mate perchance your wife.
