Those 'No Muse' Blues

I woke up last night
Wrote down some lines
I rose before the sunrise
Scribbled down some silly rhymes
I thought they were just fine
Then I looked a second time

I tried to write a verse
It just got worse
The more I tried

{bridge}
*
I got me those no muse blues
I'm tellin' you the truth
I got no inspiration
Don't know what to do

I wrote and wrote and wrote
All my dreams and hopes
  Turned into jokes

Got me those bad news
No muse
I'm screwed
Blues

Got me those sad news
No muse
  So screwed
Blues

*
Still, I plodded on
Past the light of dawn
So here's my crappy song
It couldn't be more wrong

Here's my crappy song
Thank God it isn't long
Got me those
I lose
Bad news
No muse blues
Got me those
  Bad tune
  Sad news

No muse blues
