Another Lie

Another Lie

And so what now another lie?

'Tis true you practice to deceive;

You stay out late I ask you why

And yet you turn your back and leave;

My heart bursts open at the seams

Can you not see I'm wounded so;

The night time comes as do my screams

Of anger since I just don't know...

...if you need me like I need you;

Everything is going downhill

Please tell me our love is still true;

Right now I'm making myself ill;

If truth be harsh then so be it

Don't let me suffer bit by bit.

Terrific -- as always.  You focus your special light on a subject that is usually bland.  You give it new life.  Praise.  --David

First stanza was great, the second was kind of weak.
