My Grannies Love
Generous portions of love served without ties to anything.
Valuable time for guidance given to succeed in everything

Gentleness noted in the lectures as love watered our eyes.
With a firmed "Yes you can do it.” heard time after time.

Discipline was compassionate from the best teacher as well.
Sharing life’s experience anytime I ask with a magic spell.

Supportive hands were there if I needed some time to cling.
Soothing sounds would lift my head as you started to sing.

Thankful when you tuck me in with stories you had lived.
Staying up late at night was our secret but I better not fib.

Calming kisses for boo’s- boo’s while wiping tears from my eye.
Joyful is my heart today knowing your watching from God's side.

Now I live my life for family and not for material things.
For I learned life is hard but sweeten with a few blessings.

Then a very stern voice in heaven speaks to Jesus our Friend.
"Dan has been cruising for a bruising get a hold of his hand."

Author's Notes:
After all these years thinking of you still gives me warm and fuzzy feelings.
I will always love you granny.
Not once did you hit my fanny.
Even when I was cruising for a bruising.
I did this quick so don't be surrprise error or two but tomorrow isn't a promise for any of us.

There is no error here -- just perfection.  Your love for your granny is palpable -- I can feel it.  We are lucky who had grandmother sso dear -- I'd a couple myself.  What a gift from G-d are our dearest second mothers...   This poem is special, Dan.  It made me remember...  Love, David

My Oma (low German for grandma) is in heaven too, but I still miss her every day. This is spectacular Dan!
