WBC2 -- The Power Of Verse

WBC2 The Power Of Verse

Write well the word and feel the power

Encapsulate your feelings in rhyme;

Ensnare the damsel in the tower

With poetic verse as fine as wine;

The lover's heart is a lock to pick

A bank vault from which you would not steal;

Should the lover suspect not a trick

The heart will open fast and reveal...

...the soft centre and all it protects

Everything save trust which must be earned;

Be not sly for fear of bad effects

Be open and reap all you have yearned;

An old-fashioned verse declaring love

Will win your belle and charm God above.

This verse certainly won me!  An exceptional solution to the word bank challenge:  what a beauty!  --David
