Love's Horizon...Tomahawk's WBC
I don't read Cosmopolitan
for its fashion news, make-up tips
or a recipe for ciabatta bread but simply
for ideas on how to waltz with my man over Love's Horizon!

Should my obsession cross the line,
then what?
Daily, I intoxicate  my senses by watching
each lovely curtain rise and fall over the northern Rockies.
Sanguine clouds dye the sun blood red.
Are we to blame for the smoke and forest fire near Wise River?
I blush because Big Sky has become my passion's playground.
Each exciting sunset is calmed by
drinking coffee at midnight.

I serve supper at six
with a fine cabernet wine and breathless whispers.
Are you ready, my love, for an evening of ecstacy, pillow talk,
and my only earthly possession?

...and I playfully ask, "oh baby,
where have you been all of my life?"

Linda Jo:  I really enjoyed the playful feel of this write.  Thanks for doing a Word Bank.  Tomahawks words were very
fun to use on this one.

Very nice, LJ, I always appreciate good imagery and you provide it here, with decription of Montana and it's big sky. I have many friends there, worked with someone from there and dated a girl from there, so you might say, I have an affinity for Montana, someday, I'll visit there. Good work!
