FF-WBC-3 -- It Was A Risk

FF-WBC-3 It Was A Risk

It was a risk a start who knew when it would end

But try to tell me it was wrong not possible;

She was an angel blue-green eyes soul-mate and friend

But I fell in love a fool so incapable;

My soul did fly and spin my brain was not thinking

She was a need a desire that grew far too great;

But when we were together there was no inkling

Of how it would end how we became disparate;

Once friends became lovers the problems just started

Innocence became complex and arguments rose;

In truth it was not long until we just parted

On our own for the first real time our friendship froze;

Now still alone I think of her but now I smile

And remember all the good times worth every mile.

Sublime solution to the WBC!  I feel like I should get 10% of the royalties.  This is another masterpiece.  Please write a bad poem.  --David
