Earth. FF WBC3
Oh planet earth so green and blue

Why do men risk destroying you

You fly and spin through endless space

Carrying fools, the human race.

Tell me planet earth please do

Why they try to bring an end to you

When will they start to see the need

For once to value where they feed.

Ya gotta hand it to the human race...We are the only animals smart enough to figure out ways to destroy everything, including ourselves..Very thoughtful piece, Bill...AS Peter Paul and Mary asked, "When will they ever learn?"...len

A nursery rhyme for today -- not unhopeful really: the rhythm of the rhyme -- the beautiful babyish-ness of it -- make for happiness.  A triumph.  Excellent writing.  I get 25% of the profit.  --David

Say Bill, if you ever get the chance, look up and listen to The Stylistics song, "From The Mountain" It talks of the very things you mentioned in thid good work. You'll see what I mean.
