FF-WBC-4 -- Lost

Lost

In the Spring of this year I was living on hope

As journalists we live on the edge of pure fear;

That day you went missing I thought I would not cope

Even now in the Fall events are still not clear;

Government officials here ask who, what when why?

But they do not have access to the rebels now;

So I will set off on my own you will not die

I ask myself the questions now the main one how?

I will be at your last position sometime soon

We will travel the jungle at night for safety;

It is sadly beautiful under the red moon

But I stay focussed my word is my surety;

Wherever you are this night please just think of me

It may just bring me to you may just set you free.

Each poem I read of yours it is so you.... Your emotions...feelings so well expressed...

 You have such a gift to express yourself so we all can understand about life and all its changes... Hugs ~ India

Unbelievable!  Extraordinary!  Edible!  What an amazing poem.  Thoroughly a Whole -- from beginning to end -- and what use of Language!   English becomes clay in your hand.  --David
