War Cries

War Cries

We are Prisoners of our own war masquerades, just seeing the sunrise makes us feel like we are immortals in our own time and space.

Bear witness my friend you will have to clear out your tongue to speak.

What is the real truth?

You may say that this is Outrageous, but this world was made for the softness of a person that will fight with a heart of love.

No surrender you say. Bravery comes at a cost. Our rivers run with the blood from brave Men and Women.

The government's laws were why we had to march for the freedom of the black man.

The government speaks War Words at each turn. We are people of a loving creator and should choose our words carefully.

Raise your battle flag and you may find that this country will be the one that will pay the cost in your own blood.

Remember the Stench of death may fill your nose as the Generals storms the halls of hell with their battle cries.

It is written to live by the sword is to die by the sword.

In the smoke and the embers of our own ashes God may choose to show no mercy on this country.

America should think twice before sounding the war cries

This is a terrific statement against war and governments that send their children into war.  Congratulations to both you and India for this superb poem.  I don't know how to solve the world's problems -- but maybe it's as slow as one person by one person.  I hope this poem help one person say no to war.  Terrific words.  --David

War is the failure of politicians yet the flower of our youth pay the price. So has it always been.. Bill
