Something Thatís Mine

  Something Thatís Mine

I told her a secret that revealed my heart too

Words that Iíd kept within but slowly grew

She saw the depth in me and said let it shine

And I will give to you something that is mine

Let her see a deeper side had I lost all my clue

Things that were always there yet never brew

She saw the sight in me and said bring some wine

And I will give to you something that is mine

My heart began to beat faster and knew for who

Pumping blood to veins that were always blue

She saw colour in my blood and said drink more wine

And I will give to you something that is mine

I gave myself to her to do what she wanted to

When I woke up, saw her heartís beating for two

She saw the hope in me and said her final line

And I have now given something to you always was mine
