And So The Rant Within Me Boils

And So The Rant Within Me Boils

And so the rant within me boils

Injustice rancor for the poor;

Oppressed the children of the world

Cry out but silent is the night;

No hand extends no guiding light

No food for tiny hands uncurled;

Yet welcomed is the passion lure

Of war and ill-begotten spoils;

The Middle-East and Africa

Call out for peace and living room;

But both are cursed to living doom

By armies of both near and far;

Utopia we crave world peace

From death and dirge we need release.

Spot on!  I love your poems about world problems.  This, like all, is terrific!  David

More talk, yet tiny action from our politicians. Saving the corrupt capitalist banks with peoples' hard earned cash is more important than hungry children, so they can recover and begin to rip off us again. Nice one Al, ~Dean
