Come Muse

Come Muse

Come Muse and let us while the day

And talk of prose and passion play;

Be you not shy or reticent

Think of the hours that we've both spent;

Through thick and thin and days so lost

When troubles rise in sleep I've tossed;

You come to me my mind unblock

My feelings stir my words unlock;

I see you now you glimmer bright

Your beauty shines out in the night;

Blow through me and possess me hence

I feel your strength your mind intense;

'Tis now my time to write anew

And that is thanks my Muse to you.

Muses are very unpredictable things. They come in different shapes and forms and tend to stir you inside out... and love passionate invitations, Loved it Al, ~Dean
