G   iving person who loved life an lived it to the fullest
            Garish taste in clothes
Glimmer and sparkle in every shade of pink
Gone from this planet; she now resides with God.
A   lways willing to help a friend
            Acclaimed Bridge player
Accomplished cook that specialized in Italian cuisine
            Advisor as well as friend
Y   ellow ribbon around huge oak to to welcome home the troops (and her traveling lover)
Youthful spirit right up until the end
Yelled at me and set me straight when I started down the wrong path
Yen, the nickname for me that only she and my husband were allowed.
L   oving heart that was broken easily by men
Laughter always rang when she was around
Loved dancing, and was graced with a rhythm which I envied
L.P.N. that worked tirelessly with hadicapped children
E   ngaging personality that could make a statue smile
Eyelashes long and blonde hung over big blue eyes
Embraced life and clung to it until the end
Epitaph .... Forever in my heart, my friend.

Dedicated to Ann Gayle Rother, my best friend and confidant that passed away of cancer a few years ago.
This write was done in this color because she would love this hideous shade.

Lovely, special poem about your dear friend Gayle. You keep her spirit alive by sharing her through your poetic heart, She would be joyful about this, or should I say she is joyful somehow, somewhere! Beautiful and God bless, Brian

This is a magnificent tribute to your dear friend.  Although you wrote it with obvious grief, the poem is still uplifting.  Making it in pink was dear of you.  This is great.  Sorry for your loss.  I know it still hurts.  --David

I love it! What a gal! I'm sure she is most deserving of such a fine tribute. Wouldn't we all like to deserve such a tribute? Good work, Linda. Sorry for your loss but she will live as long as you remember her so vividly. ML
