And Two Remain as One

Can you cut a heart out like paper dolls from

 out of just paper Mache?

Did you think the mirrors’ double would see

 two held up for display?

How fragile would one become if scissors are

 placed in deceitful hands.

The strength of two has signs of wear and tear

 but one love still stands.

And holding hands will never be a missing link for

 the rest of our years.

For time represents confetti with ribbons floating

 till eternity appears.

We continue as one in the unity of two amongst

the rest of the spheres.

Author's Notes:
Its a great feeling to love someone with all of your heart.
Sadly knowing that no one else can ever share that part.

LOve has been the subject of more books, mi\ovies, and poetry than any other subject, After all that, nobody really has a clue as to understanding the reaction between two people which brings this state of heart about....len

Awwww, so I see said the blind man!!! Very interesting, this piece.. Yes it's true. Once love is given to one, it may be shared, but never duplicated as the first. Only 'they' will ever hold that piece of your heart forever.. Nicely done my friend.

Not an ordinary love poem. Many angles to ponder and think of. Loved the Author's Notes, a unique point. Thanks for sharing Dan,

~Dean

A most interesting write Dan. I read it three times and I still think

some of it is over my head, but I did enjoy the read and trying to understand it.
