The Better Part Of Valor
What honour is written in the wind
drives stallwart men in their destiny
not the words of a fool, that make sense
But rather, wisdom that shows it's mettle
not afraid to hear the crash of tears
nor the discretion that defines one's valor
And courage wants to laugh at absurdity
but transition to realities transend reason
the road less traveled leads to choice
It's not what is said, but how it's said
to deal with truth and survive it's meaning
that be the path of a true human being

This is most definitely one of my favorite writes.

I consider you a mentor, and a friend.

I thank you for sharing all of your wonderful work for us all to read.

I have learned a great deal from you, and from this poem in itself.

Thank you.

Your friend,

Discretion and valor are becoming rarities these days, but it is like a

breath of fresh air when one encounters them. Beautifully penned Haiku Len.
