Ode To My Queen

Ode To My Queen

The rhymes do flow the words come oft

In twos and threes both loud and soft;

The verse is built with colour stained

That gives it life and thus attained

Is this a missal to my Queen

My love my heart my evergreen;

She fills my life so full of joy

An air of calm she does employ

To soothe the restless beast within

Which in the past's committed sin;

But not with her my love divine

With lips as sweet as honey wine;

I hope this ode will go some way

To thanking her for every day.

Aye sire, thou hast composed a royal tribute of love and adoration to our queen, your beloved wife. Wouldst I to be of a presumptuous nature to say, that we have our king back for all time? By your leave, go I, there will be much feasting and levity on this day of days!
