Sought Solitude
Sought Solitude
I fled from society to avoid  their phantom of lies
talking out of both sides of their mouth

I deserted the world and sought solitude because my tattered soul
and worn out heart was so very weary

I ran away from the earthly people with no purpose in life
but to always complain about all things

I had to conceal myself from the chattering voices
and find purpose to living life ....not just existing

I sought solitude  away from people who institutions
monstrosity laws are call civilization

I sought out the last frontier  for the Autumn of my years
In the Peacefulness of Big Bend Country Desert

After learning why you sought solitude, I was really hoping to hear more about Big Bend Country Desert and how/why it soothes you. This was a different kind of poem than you usually write. Enjoyed!
