Don't Trust The Trees

Don't trust the waiting trees with its   angry
uncontrolled night howling winds

If you don't listen to the
whispers in the shadows
of leaves  your  gloomy  darkness will not begin

Don't trust the  molested trees that blunder
in the shadows of silent  turbulent rage

They have lived in a lifetime  in the echo's dust
of love passion all written on paper page

Black ink traces faces across  its harden heart
and forever it seals its own waiting fate

Snarling tree limbs reach and dangle destiny's
weathering hands that don't now or ever hesitate

Watch the angry trees at night in a raging storm
how they darken and wet and yet live till early morn

Branches snap and tears leaves  and it does not fall
it  will stand proud and stands very strong and tall

Look at the sunshines gold that reflects on the bark
it stands tall although bent in the unforgiving cold dark

The link of the trees to our human emotions.....being tossed....whirled without care...is within my thoughts as I read this work, India...

Very descriptive, very visual and enjoyable...

Thanks for sharing...

Trees really do have it rough... nobody to hear their silent terror as both mother nature and man do harm to them. LTK
