"The Legacy of Just Me"

Chapter 1: The First of May…

Flowers of fragrance disguise yesterdays Fall.
Winter Solstice is the longest night of them all.
The dew on the ground beckons all of us to grow.
Love has seized Father Time to take to a crawl.

Chapter 2: Nights in White Satin…

To be knighted beyond any ones dream.
Without a sword placed from the queen.
Eyes pierce me through and through.
And delivered a touch to calm me too.

Chapter 3: Who are You?…

I look outside to catch a glance to reviewed.
I had pounded pain into the grain of wood.
To sculptor an image of a forever you.
As I buried old scars for a love so true.

Chapter 4. See Me, Feel Me, Touch Me, Heal Me...

I cast off away from a time ravaged shore.
Can you walk on water and love as before.
To discover clouds with faces moving on.
Seeing new eyes as rare as the midnight sun.

 Chapter 5: It's Going to be a Good Year…

I am finally climbing up the pinnacle of success.
Rewarding time for toiling with some of the best.
The carpet ride ended quickly for God’s labor of love.
My ignored life’s purposed was written from above.

Chapter 6: Storm at Sunset…

The wheels of life were spinning out of control.
A night for the General to sell his very own soul.
The landscape of my heart change in a flash of time.
The devil encourage so many I was really out of line.

Chapter 7: Who am I?

I came forth from sand seeking love and truth!!!!
Time turn against me during the days of my youth.
When I saw a Wanted Poster declaring not to resist.
Life is more pleasurable why should I really submit?

Chapter 8: Amazing Grace…

A time chosen to spend a year upon my face.
And even now there are always sins to be erase.
I pray as Jesus taught us for friends and enemies too.
On the darkest days a light will always shine for you.

Chapter 9: The Love of God…

There is a Love that frees the soul.
To uplift our spirits whenever we go.
No words can describe that joy deep inside.
Faith conquered fears as I became His bride.

Chapter 10: The Love of My Life…

To see love drive the nails into my hands.
God’s way to reveal love can I use His plan?
He loves the entire world and I truly one.
You can't crucify true love, it will never run.

Chapter: 11 Round About....

They say the universe has no end like the word forever.
I say a circle is complete too without an end.
There are unseen Hands that introduce love from end to end.
As two souls explore together their own Endeavour.

Chapter 12: Won't Get Fooled Again...

My heart has always drawn from a well filled up with love.
I traced a million hearts in sand for the moon from above.
The same heart with the same initials time and time again.
Time didn't stop for a breath in fact became our best friend.

Memory did not suffer a lost moment remembering your hand.
For today I reflected on the places we met in loves poetry land.

Author's Notes:
I took music that I heard over the years and put my life to each song in a chapter for my last 60 years.
I  have come to realized that poetry has presented me with the challenges of shaking off the dreams in the
morning with reality of everyday living. I have discovered poets are more sincere then everyday people. I love to
be numbered with the ranks of hearts challenged to place themselves on parchment before the world
Thank you for your time and comments over the past five years.
