Closed Eyes

Behind the doors, we close our eyes
I've been to heaven and died there twice
Forget me knots or so it seems
The purest essence of one man's dream
I blink my shutters then start to stutter
Then sunshine ignites my eyes
It Relights my faith onto this page
That funny feeling of love and rage
I'm wide awake, full to the brim
Just blinding light let's love back in
