A creative voice is stilled
Her beautiful pen silenced
Leaving all who knew her puzzled
Her family left to wonder why
Why at such a tender age she was taken
Only God knows

While she was here, what beauty she wrote with
A talented offshoot of her Mom
Always Keri was her screen name
 Glata's beautiful daughter
What an infectious smile she had
What aplomb she wrote with
Talent runs deep in the family
Keri fought hard against what ailed her
Until her tortured body could fight no more
She passed while sleeping
A peaceful rest for her beautiful soul
Those who knew her will miss her
Those who loved her will miss her more
Her Parents and siblings will miss her most
Keri you now walk among the angels and God
No more pain for you
Though we weep and struggle to understand why
You will never be forgotten
I salute your full life and spirit
Though done too soon

Thank you, Henry...We never know what God has in store for us when we enter this crazy arena called life, but I do know that this has made me cherish my children, their spouses and the grands a lot more! I never dreamed in a million years that I would be the one having to bid "Until Later" to one of my children...that's just something you see on tv, right??? But when the call came in, I knew before I picked up the phone that something devastating had happened.

I wanted to rail against God; screaming and demanding to know WHY! But His gentle way of speaking touched my heart saying, "Why not? Was she not hurting? In pain all the time? Was she not living a miserable existence? Would you rather she stay in that?" and I had to say, God definitely knows best.

Keep the prayers coming our way...there are a lot of things going on...and we see God's mighty hand at work in more than one way right now!

Yes, my daughter graduated before me, but I am assured to see her again one day where she'll be pain free and able to sing with a voice that will put the angels to shame! She will be able to walk again without collapsing in pain...she will be able to have that beautiful glow in her eyes that expressed so much love...

Until later, beautiful and talented daughter. I know you were only on loan from God and it was time for you to go back home.  Godspeed...and I will see you again soon!
