Wading in
Back to the keyboard
Familiar haunting ground
Been such a long time
Since my mind made a sound

The words will be simple
An attempt to wax poetic
Nothing complex
Nothing exotic

Just a few simple words
To wade in the pool again
Trying to conjure up
Some poetic zen
Author's Notes:
It's been a really long time for me, I hope you enjoy my words.

Sounds good to me! I, too, am trying to relocate my muse...She left me when Keri passed. I sure hope she will come back soon! I miss writing!

Nice to see you wading in the pool again!  Yes, I know...if I were to write a poem again it would feel like "starting from the beginning". Its hard too when there doesn't seem to be the same support and friendship we once had.  It was nice to have so many read, comment, and give encouraging suggestions ...seemed to spur us on, didn't it?

Lives change...but we still wonder...Where have all the poets gone?
