You Said I Did Nothing Wrong
You said I did Nothing wrong.
But, Here I am feeling like I don't belong.
You told me I was an amazing person.
That I wasn't just like everyone else, I was your person.
See I thought you were my best friend.
I thought you were my soulmate, right up until the very end.
I remember the first time I made you laugh.
It was right in front of all the staff.
We had worked together as a team.
You made me so happy I couldn't help but beam.
This little family of ours meant more to me than anything in this world.
And now I sit in this house, just so cold.
You say I did nothing wrong but, all my dreams are gone.
You threw away a life and it feels so wrong.
You looked me in my eye and lied straight to my face.
You moved so fast and then I was replaced.
You say I did nothing wrong but, alone here I am.
This new freedom just feels like a sham.
My chest is open and my heart is exposed.
It has broken me to know that you posed.
This wasn't a lie for me.
You were really my family.
You say I did nothing wrong.
And now I'm Forced to be nothing but strong.
