Knew Years
Let's start the new year like the last one, No, Let's start the new year like the one before that one, Let's start the new year how it ends, Remembering a resolution I never meant, Everything's last call, Bad habits in bath stalls, The new year's a catch all, A clean slate to scratch on, Let's start the new year like last time, No, Let's start the new year like it's 1999, Y2K, Life's too great, Not to live today, Why not live this way, Since tomorrow's too late, Let's start the new year like the present, No, Let's start the new year midsentence, This year I will... This year I won't... This year I need... This year I want... Let's start the new year how we finished, No, Let's start the new year from the beginning, Let's start the new year like the last one...

Tyler, welcome to the CP and hope you'll make it here a 'new home' or 'knew home'. Like Linda said, I really like your puns and approach, an interesting piece. I'd like to treat every day as the new year's day, or even every tomorrow to look forward as the new year's day, so we'll have more good intentions to do more good things than yesterdays. Really enjoyed.

welcome to the site, Tyler.  I like your puns, rhymes, and approach to the new year. One of my favorite lines... "A clean slate to scratch on."  I also like your idea of starting the new year in midsentence...so This year I want to...
