Waiting for more

I was never afraid of the dark

In fact I used to love the silence

But I've been lost from the start

And I could use a bit guidance

I no longer find any comfort

In the presence of my own thoughts

It's like I want my soul to suffer

A self-inflicted punishment of sorts

I long for something to change

For my mind to return to the quiet

I don't want more of just the same

I'm ready and willing to riot
