I bet you never knew this,
but you were the start to it all, the start to the foundation of the moments we built together,
I feel as if you were designed to know the pieces that were constructed to hold my structure in place
it may of been short - lived but I longed for that place promised in our early days,
Surely I thought it would never change,
because I remember seeing you for the first time, like actually noticing the simple elegance,
the model to your movement,
as you composed your soul through brush strokes on a concrete canvas,
your painting it taught me to have patience not only with myself but with your soul at hand,
and as you stood there the daylight illuminated the fabric of your frame,
some only see the body of your work, and not your worth,
but we often focus on what others say, and to some you are merely a mural, but no one can mirror your image,
I wish you could see my perception, because you say your Lips are not small enough
and speak about how you have No cheek bones and eyes not big enough, eyebrows not arched enough
but should it only matter if you heart is enough?
you mention about having bags under your eyes but people don't understand what you carry each day,
the shape of your nose, your jawline, messy hair, but your not a mess at all.
you say Plus I'm short. I'm like 4'10" ya you are small but you are big enough to achieve anything you put your mind to,
so my dear, you were not designed to see the flaws in your form, you were designed to feel that beauty within.

I enjoy the connection here between art and beauty, between what is apparent/visible and what is interpreted and experienced. Nicely expressed.
