Leave something out for his imagination
Leave something out for his imagination

I am sorry that I did not detect the truth in your tone
through the foggy lies of my rattling mind.
I am sorry that I stepped back out of your reach
when I heard your words say
"Walk away"

I am sorry that I lost my sight to a keen edge of an ancestor's knife
I'm sorry that I only heard your words and neglected
the meaning in your eyes.

when I heard in my heart
"Please hold me"

It is part of the frustration of bring human, So many lonely people, so many hearts desires, too many pitfalls in communication, too many fears in getting hurt.
