Sunset too soon
Sunset too soon

My Beauty, a fragile soul
not hopeless, nor forgotten
but determined to suffer,
as would Irish lace
on a windy day
with the window open

Welcomed horizons had been sold for scrap,
 sailing now,
for transportation rather than anticipation
cleared the deck

There are no more dreams to ponder, My Beauty
asunder within
